BD1 LiVE Presents: Bingley Music Live Beckons 2012
Calling all Musicians and bands
We’re offering you the opportunity to play at Bingley Music Live, in front of 15,000 people!
After the success of 2010 and 2011, BD1 LiVE has once again teamed up with
Bingley Music Live to offer two successful bands the opportunity to open and play the Bingley Music Live main stage on Saturday 1 Sept and Sunday 2 Sept.
If you’re a musician, or in a band, or know someone that is, download an application form here and register before the 25 May. We’ll be choosing 18 bands to play across three heats in June. One winner from each heat along with a further three runners up will then go on to play in the grand final on the majestic stage at St George’s Hall in Bradford: A stage that has had such musical legends as Queen, David Bowie, Metallica, Suede, Paul Weller, Stereophonics, The Sugarbabes and Mumford and Sons performing on it.
The two winning acts from the grand final at St George’s Hall will open the main stage at Bingley Music Live, one on Saturday 1 & one on Sunday 2 September. Bingley Music Live has already confirmed The Charlatans, Delilah, Hard Fi, The Pigeon Detectives, DJ Fresh, Maverick Sabre and Stooshe with more still to be confirmed.
Adam Renton – General Manager of Bradford Theatres, said:
