I have seen this show twice and can't wait to see it again this time at the Alhambra. The music is amazing and I love to play the very dramatic bits at full volume - nearly! i teach it in Drama and really enjoy exploring characters.
anyone who hasn't seen it should treat themselves.

I have seen Blood Brothers 4 times . I have the DVD and I can still feel emotional no matter how many times I listen to it.
It is certainly the best show my husband and I have ever seen. Full of different emotions all the way through .We have recommended it to so many people now and they have all loved it.

Have lost count of the number of times I've seen Blood Brothers since the first time in 1988, but know I'm well into double figures! Some casts have been better than others but I've never been disappointed. I would recommed it to anyone that has not been before!

In response to the last review, it's always worth seeing it again, I myself have seen it 8 times and have only come away once feeling slightly disappointed, it's very rewarding to see different cast members put a slightly different spin on a part. It's emotional punch isn't lessened with repeat viewings either.

Saw this the last time it came to The Alhambra. We knew nothing about it but fancied a night out. I booked this because other people seemed to have seen it and they raved about it. It all looked a bit too contemporary for my liking, and my solid-to-the-core Yorkshire husband was even more sceptical. (Anything more modern than The Sound of Music is a bit too much for him!)
Then it started and we were both almost instantly hooked. By the end we were full of emotion and I was ready to scream. In between, we hovered between frustration, anger, sorrow, pain, intense humour, and the depths of despair. It really took us by surprise with its total all-encompassing emotion and involvement - which is a bit weird for us.
How ashamed am I by the snobby thoughts I had about this play.... and HE only came because I made him. It is truly a wonderful experience and something to really savour. I don't know that I want to see it again, just in case I am disappointed, but then again..........
