Further info

Tasmin Little is one of Bradford's favourites musicians, having made her concerto debut in 1985 and successfully returned many times since. Tonight she plays Mozart's lovely 'Turkish' Violin Concerto, a delightful combination of Viennese grace and Turkish high spirits. Haydn's Symphony No. 64, with the nickname 'Times Change', comes from his dramatic 'Storm and Stress' period: it is both extraordinarily original and entertaining. The European Chamber Orchestra opens its programme with the Suite from Handel's ever-popular 'Water Music', and continues the watery theme with Bradford-born Frederick Delius's polished 'Two Aquarelles'.
