Conducting the North's own Hallé Orchestra is the distinguished Romanian maestro Cristian Mandeal, who made such a positive impact last season leading the Orchestra in unforgettable performances. Here he conducts Schubert's Ninth Symphony, known as 'The Great' in what is certain to be a memorable interpretation.
