Why are some people more hypnotisable than others? How does Schizophrenia produce hallucinations? Using demonstrations, this talk will describe the surprising links between some mental states and hypnosis, and show that our normal conscious awareness is little more than a fragile illusion. You can try it for yourself, by taking part in a group hypnosis session.
