Having wowed audiences and critics alike, ZooNation’s sensational follow up to Into the Hoods
brings the multi-talented cast, which includes Tommy Franzén, Lizzie Gough (both finalists on BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance) and Teneisha Bonner (StreetDance 3D).

Featuring ZooNation’s trademark mix of hip hop, comedy, physical theatre and dance innovation, this comic tale of love, mistaken identity, cross dressing and revolution, set in a draconian dystopia where books are outlawed and women treated as second class citizens, sees two rebellious girls disguise themselves as men in a courageous attempt to turn the tide.

Created by ZooNation’s visionary artistic director Kate Prince who took inspiration from Billy Wilder’s classic film while loosely basing her story on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with its themes of despair, desire, disguise and deception, Some Like It Hip Hop is a spectacular dance musical full of frenetic beats and fizzing energy performed to original and highly infectious live music produced by Josh Cohen and DJ Walde.

***** “Thrilling. Electrifying theatre, its boundless, joyful energy is infectious” Metro

***** “This is glorious” The Independent
