Further info

Join six remarkable ladies from deep south Louisiana: the beautiful and impulsive Shelby; her strong-willed mother, M’Lynn; beauty parlour owner Truvy; elegant wealthy widow, Clairee; sharp-tongued Ouiser and mousey newcomer Annelle as they ride life’s rollercoaster and enjoy friendship that has no boundaries.

From the original play in 1987 to its film adaptation in 1989, Steel Magnolias, a true story by Robert Harling following the loss of his beloved sister, is a truly moving play that celebrates the strength and value of friendship, humour, and love in the midst of life’s greatest hardships.

With all the sweet gentility of Southern belles and with strength and wit made of steel, these special ladies will have you crying and laughing together. If you enjoyed Calendar Girls then this is a show that you won’t want to miss!

The funniest play ever to make you cry - this is a show you won't want to miss!

Starring Cherie Lunghi, Denise Welch, Isla Blair, Cheryl Campbell, Kacey Ainsworth and Sadie Pickering.
