The Bradford New Year's matinée concert is now an established popular attraction, drawing audiences from across the whole of Yorkshire and beyond. The combination of the most popular waltzes, polkas and marches by Johann Strauss II and other masters of Viennese music, with excerpts from the most tuneful Viennese operettas, is a winning formula that never fails to please. This year, we are delighted to welcome the charismatic Donacaster-born diva Lesley Garrett, whose engaging personality and beautiful voice are certain to add an extra dimension to an already brilliant mixture of music and magic.
