St George's Hall presents The 67th Bradford (Yorkshire) Festival of Remembrance

Bradford Theatres are pleased to host this year's Bradford Festival of Remembrance at St George's Hall, the UK's premiere concert hall. This year, we are delighted to welcome Duncan Preston as the Compère for the evening. The Bradford born actor is well known for his many Theatre and TV credits including of course the Victoria Wood comedies Acorn Antiques and Dinnerladies.

We have a wonderful variety of local acts including, The City of Bradford Brass Band, soprano Claire McKay and Steeton Male Voice Choir.

For the first time we are joined by Clayton Church of England Primary School Choir and Spotlight Stage School. Spotlight Stage School, based in Allerton (Bradford) this year celebrated their 20th anniversary.

We also welcome musicians Abi Uttley and Marc Otway in their musical duo ISSIMO, performing songs from the 1940's. ISSIMO have played some of the UK's biggest festivals including Latitude and Bingley Music Live.

The event will end with a Parade of Standards, community singing led by Claire McKay and a Service of Remembrance. Be part of something special and join your community for the 67th annual Bradford Festival of Remembrance.
