BD1 LiVE presents: THE FINAL of Bingley Music Live Beckons
In May Bradford Theatres launched the search for local music talent. Over 100 bands entered, 32 made the heats and now 8 bands will do battle to be crowned the winner of BD1 LiVE The Final on Saturday 24 July at St George’s Hall.
Four bands will be chosen to be the opening acts at this year’s Bingley Music Live festival in September playing in front of a crowd of over 15000 people. Plus the overall winner will also receive 8 hours recording time in Factory Street Recording Studio.
Jane Glaister - Strategic Director, Culture, Tourism and Sport said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for local musicians to showcase their wealth of talent at such a prestigious venue as St George’s Hall for the chance to play Bingley Music live. I’m so pleased Bradford Theatres and Bingley Music Live could collaborate in such an exciting way.”

Andrew Wood – Event Manager, Bingley Music Live said:
“Bingley Music Live is a fabulous platform to showcase local talent. To be included on the same billing as the likes of James and The Enemy in front of thousands of people is a massive incentive for all the bands in the final to put in their best performance. Already there has been a massive increase in ticket sales for Bingley Music Live and that’s without the full line up being revealed. It appears the people that came last year had such a good time that they’ve gone out and bought their tickets not wanting to miss out.”
