Autumn Season 2010
AUTUMN SEASON 2010 AT BRADFORD THEATRES
Bradford Theatres announce a delightful array of top-quality shows and entertainment for Autumn 2010 at their venues: the Alhambra Theatre, St. George's Hall, The Studio and King's Hall in Ilkley.
Please find information in a listings style for each month of the new season; more information can be found on the Bradford Theatres website or by contacting a member of the Bradford Theatres Press Team.
Adam Renton, General Manager Bradford Theatres says:
"We have a fantastic array of shows on offer this autumn with the very best in musicals, dance, comedy, children's shows, variety performers and singers. One of the most talked-about shows touring at the moment is Hairspray, which will be in Bradford for two weeks in December. Another highlight of the season is Chess - the opportunity to see this show on a professional UK tour doesn't come around very often (the last one was 10 years ago) so don't miss seeing it when it's in town!
Comedy is very strong this autumn season. With the best on the circuit calling in at St George's Hall, there's something on the bill to make you laugh every month. We will also be hosting two Jongleurs comedy nights at our venue in Ilkley, King's Hall. On top of that, after most of the comedy events, we'll be dishing up a 'Curry And A Drink', accompanied by an acoustic live band.
I can't go without mentioning this year's spectacular pantomime, Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. It promises to be bigger and better than ever, with the return of some stunning special effects in amazing 3D. We encourage you to book early for performances after 4 January 2011 to take advantage of this year's ticket prices before the VAT increases!
Whether you are a regular attender or a newcomer to Bradford Theatres, we welcome you; I am sure that you will find something to enjoy this season."
