New shows just announced at the Alhambra Theatre in 2015
Cole Porter’s uplifting masterpiece Anything Goes arrives at the Alhambra Theatre in March next year. Featuring the rich sounds of a live orchestra, a sensational cast of 26 and a magnificent score including  I Get A Kick Out of You, You’re the Top, It’s De-Lovely and Anything Goes. Hop aboard for sassy heroines, mischievous mob bosses, comedy capers and tap dancing sailors in this hilarious tale of romance and hi jinks on the high seas. 
A leader in the world of contemporary circus, Cirque Éloize has been creating moving performances filled with magic and emotions since 1993. Performing within an inventive stage design and accompanied by an original musical score and video projections, twelve acrobats and multidisciplinary artists will transport performers and spectators between dream and reality in an uninterrupted stream of acrobatics, music, images and drawings to delight the eye. Set in 1950s New York and crackling with raw emotion, American classic A View From The Bridge simmers with tension as longshoreman Eddie Carbone's obsessive nature spirals out of control. In a close Italian immigrant community bound by codes of justice and vengeance the scene is set for disaster when Eddie and his wife welcome Sicilian cousins into their home. Brought to the Alhambra by the Touring Consortium Theatre Company whose previous productions include; To Sir With Love and Brassed Off. 
As refreshing and thrilling as the day it was written, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! the original feel-good musical makes a long awaited return to Bradford’s Alhambra. From the minute the rugged cowboy Curly steps on to the stage singing Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin’ we know that all will be right with the world. This colourful production overflows with well-known songs such as I’m Just A Girl Who Cain’t Say No, Surrey With A Fringe On Top, Kansas City, People Will Say We’re In Love and, of course, the rousing title song itself!
The internationally acclaimed hit musical Jersey Boys arrives in Bradford from 28th April for a two week run. Winner of 55 major awards worldwide, including the Olivier Award for best new musical. Jersey Boys tells the remarkable rise to stardom of one of the most successful bands in pop music history, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. This sensational production features many of the band’s worldwide hits, including: Beggin', Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, December 1963 (Oh What A Night), Walk Like A Man, Bye Bye Baby (Baby Goodbye), Sherry and Big Girls Don’t Cry.
