At King’s Hall in Ilkley we have an audience with Martin Kemp and Gyles Brandreth talks about the power of words. Adam Renton, General Manager Bradford Theatres says:

“This year promises to be a very dynamic and exhilarating time for everyone at Bradford Theatres.
Our city centre venue, St George’s Hall, closes temporarily at the end of March for renovation work and we also undertake some work to refresh the look and style of The Studio space over the coming months.

We welcome a trio of long-running international musicals to the award-winning Alhambra Theatre this year: Billy Elliot the Musical is in town with the only Yorkshire dates on their ten venue UK tour; and Bradford is the only UK city to host Wicked outside London during 2016. Mary Poppins completes the trio, with a visit later in the autumn months.

As well as our very popular Restaurant 1914, there are plans to open another eatery at the Alhambra
Theatre – The Pit Kitchen – during the summer; and the Laidler Lounge VIP champagne bar continues to offer the perfect start to your evening with us.”
