Access to Bradford Theatres

Bradford Theatres have won the Theatrical Management Association (TMA) Award for Most Welcoming Theatre in both 2005 & 2009, and have been shortlisted on several other occasions.
Bradford Theatres are also White Rose Tourism nominee 'Access For All' in 2010.

At Bradford Theatres we aim to make our venues fully accessible and we offer an extensive range of access facilities to ensure an easy and enjoyable experience for all our customers. This includes a dedicated "Welcome Host" who is allocated to customers with specific needs when they arrive at the venue.

Bradford Theatres have been assessed and accredited by DisabledGo.

Access & Carer Membership Scheme

Bradford Theatres and Bradford Council are committed to ensuring all customers can participate and enjoy Bradford Theatres events equally.  For customers who need someone to be with them to access the service or facility at Bradford Theatres, there is now an Access & Carer Membership Scheme in operation. Membership is free and valid for a period of three years.

If you qualify under the Scheme you will receive a reduction on the cost of your visit for your carer.  In some circumstances you may also receive a reduction to your ticket price. Groups and organisations of disabled people, or organisations supporting disabled people, can also obtain a reduction in ticket price through the Scheme.

An application form for Individual Membership can be downloaded here.

An application form for Group/Organisation Membership can be downloaded here.

Alternatively, you can call our Box Office on 01274 432000 to discuss the Scheme further.

  • There are baby-changing facilities at the venue.
  • Buggies and prams are not allowed in the auditorium itself but can be left in the entrance foyer at the discretion of the House Manager (please note there is limited space available).
