Dramaplayworks

Saturday morning workshops held at the Alhambra Studio from 10am to 12pm, during term time, for 8 to 10 year olds, and from 12.15pm to 2.15pm for 11 to 13 year olds . Booked in half termly blocks (or termly if preferred). The price varies per half term depending on the number of weeks but is generally between £15.00 & £20.00. Theatreworks

Blocks of drama workshops for 14 to 18 year olds, running one evening a week at the Alhambra Studio. Blocks of workshops usually culminate in a performance (for example a Street Theatre performance during Bradford Festival). Places are free and can be booked by telephoning 01274 437490 (limited places available).

Summer Youth Theatre

Every summer Twisting Yarn, in association with West Yorkshire Police, works intensively with students from Bradford Secondary Schools over a 5 week period to create a piece of youth theatre on issues that affect them. This is then performed in the Alhambra Studio to year 7 students from Bradford secondary schools, who travel to the Studio using buses organised by the police. Interested young people are selected for the project via a series of workshops in participating secondary schools throughout the summer term prior to the project.
