Making his 19th Alhambra Theatre pantomime appearance, the undisputed King of Bradford panto and Yorkshire’s best-loved comedian, Billy Pearce will star as Cinderella’s best-friend Buttons opposite singer, author, columnist and television presenter Coleen Nolan, as the Fairy Godmother, in yet another unmissable festive production in Bradford.

The award-winning Billy has received a British Comedy Award, won Solo Comedian of the Year, Best Television Comedy Newcomer, and the Yorkshire Arts and Entertainment Award.  His varied career has seen him star in theatres, cabarets and summer seasons across the UK, and perform for royalty at eight Royal Variety Shows.  Billy is currently touring the UK in the hilarious farcical comedy Seriously Dead and in the spring of this year will star as Mr Toad in a brand new musical adaptation of Kenneth Greene’s The Wind in the Willows.

As a member of much-loved girl group The Nolans, Coleen’s music career began in 1980 when she joined her sisters in the chart-topping band best known for hits including I’m in the Mood for Dancing, Don’t Make Waves and Gotta Pull Myself Together.  Since then she has risen to further fame as a regular panellist on Loose Women for ITV, as guest presenter on This Morning, competed in the fourth series of Dancing on Ice, released her autobiography, No Regrets, and released two novels; Envy and Denial.

In 2012 Coleen was a runner up in the tenth series of Celebrity Big Brother.  Coleen returned to the infamous house earlier this year, winning the competition with 33% of the public vote.

Cinderella will be produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer.  With over 35 years’ experience and staging over 670 top-drawer pantomimes to its credit, Qdos is renowned for producing high-quality festive productions which are both contemporary and true to the traditions of pantomime and bring a host of star names and creative collaborators to its productions staged at the Alhambra Theatre and venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland each Christmas.
