Pantomime will be making a magical return to the Alhambra Theatre this festive season with the spectacular new panto adventure, Pinocchio.

Comedy sensation and Bradford panto legend Billy Pearce leads the cast as toymaker Geppetto, with his prize creation Pinocchio transforming from the famous puppet to a real boy, whose nose grows every time he tells a lie. Joining Billy is Coronation Street star Chris Gascoyne who will take on the role of the evil Stromboli, and Drag Superstar, Singer and Television Personality Courtney Act as the Blue Faerie.

Featuring stunning sets and costumes, fantastic special effects and plenty of laugh-out-loud comedy, the 2024 Alhambra Theatre panto is guaranteed to be a spectacle!

Relaxed Performances - Tuesday 7 January 2025

To make the pantomime performance as accessible as possible we are delighted to offer two relaxed performances of Pinocchio at 1pm and 6pm on Tuesday 7 January 2025.

Relaxed Performances are specifically designed to welcome people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, learning disability or sensory and communication disorder into theatres. It provides the opportunity for those who would benefit from experiencing live theatre in a less formal atmosphere.

Lighting and special effects will be slightly altered - for example removing strobes and flashing lights and reducing very loud noises. The atmosphere at this performance will be relaxed to ensure a comfortable and magical experience for all. However, the content of the show will not be specifically changed. Our highly experienced front of house staff will be available to assist and support as needed. These performances will also be BSL interpreted.
