There's plenty of comedy to enjoy with these top shows coming to Bradford Theatres' venues this May.

Award winning comedian Rob Brydon and his eight-piece band are coming to St George's Hall, Bradford for an evening of songs and laughter. 

With a hugely entertaining and sometimes brilliantly unexpected selection of songs from Tom Jones to Tom Waits and his famed impressions of the likes of Mick Jagger, Michael Caine and Steve Coogan, Rob will regale audiences with hilarious tales from his distant and recent past. Recommended age 10+. 

Star of TV sitcoms Bad Move, Lead Balloon and Josh, plus host of the legendary Radio 4 show I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, Jack Dee brings his new show 'Off The Telly' to St George's Hall, Bradford on Thursday 5 May.

About his show latest stand-up show Jack says,“In these difficult and uncertain times people need hope – a ray of sunshine to brighten their day. And that’s very much where I come in”.
Recommended age 14+. 

John Shuttleworth is "back" - after an enforced period of time at home! The versatile singer/organist and verbal rambler extraordinaire will be taking to the stage at King’s Hall, Ilkley on Friday 6 May

This latest show will include all the favourites from his pre-lockdown tour including classics like Y Reg, I Can’t Go Back To Savoury and Pigeons in Flight. There will also be fantastic new ditties written during lockdown, including Stay at Home and Protect the VHS. The songs will be interrupted by hilarious phone calls from Ken, Mary and Joan Chitty, plus John’s tips on how to cope with modern home life, as described in his stylish new(ish) book Two Margarines and other Domestic Dilemmas! Recommended age 14+.

Hugely popular comedian Stewart Lee brings his double-bill show Snowflake/Tornado to St George’s Hall, Bradford on Friday 6 May.

The first half, Snowflake, will be heavily rewritten in the light of the two years the show has been laid off, looking at how the Covid-Brexit era has impacted on the culture war between lovely snowflakes and horrible people. The second half, Tornado, questions Stew’s position in the comedy marketplace after Netflix mistakenly listed his show as “reports of sharks falling from the skies are on the rise again. Nobody on the Eastern Seaboard is safe.” Recommended age 14+. 

Following the sell-out National Trevor tours, comedian, broadcaster, writer, campaigner, and all-round good egg, Sandi Toksvig returns to St George's Hall, Bradford with her brand-new show Next Slide Please... 

In an evening of warmth, love and laughter, Sandi will explore reasons to be cheerful after many long months of coronacoaster gloom. Expect fascinatingly funny facts, silly jokes and a quick-fire Q&A. Recommended age 14+. 

Ed Byrne makes a welcome return to St George’s Hall, Bradford on Friday 27 May with his masterclass in observational comedy If I’m Honest. Join Ed as he takes a long hard look at himself and tries to decide if he has ANY traits that are worth passing on to his children. 

A TV household name Ed has appeared on Live At The Apollo (Host, BBC), Mock The Week (BBC), The Pilgrimage (BBC), Top Gear (BBC) and QI (BBC). Recommended age 16+.
