Leeds Int Piano Competition Second Round

The Stage is set, the keys are polished and the cameras are poised – the Leeds International Piano Competition is back with a resounding flourish in 2024! 

Join us for a celebration of unparalleled talent and a glimpse into the future of classical brilliance. Feel the energy, experience the passion and witness The Leeds’ next generation of pianists embark on their competition journey.

The live Second Round of the competition will take place at the Great Hall at the University of Leeds, where 24 pianists will look to secure their Semi-final spot.

The Second Round takes place over six sessions. Each session will feature four competitors who will perform a 40-minute solo recital, featuring a substantial work or group of works by a major composer.
