The season opens with British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor. Hailed as ‘the most remarkable young pianist of our time’ (Gramophone), he is internationally recognised for his electrifying performances and insightful interpretations.   In 2012, Benjamin became Gramophone's youngest-ever double award winner when he was awarded Gramophone's Young Artist of the Year Award and Instrumental Awards.   Benjamin is renowned for his distinctive sound, described as ‘poetic and gently ironic, brilliant yet clear-minded, intelligent but not without humour, all translated through a beautifully clear and singing touch’ (The Independent) making him one of the most sought-after young pianists in the world.   There is a wonderful selection of classical music at Bradford Cathedral for the 30th Chamber Season and  Chamber subscription packages are still available, with savings of up to 20%.      Friday 29 September 2017, 7.30pm Benjamin Grosvenor PianoMozart Sonata No.13 in B-flat major, K.333Brahms Four Pieces for solo piano, Op.119Dean Hommage à BrahmsDebussy Prélude à l’après-midi d’un fauneRavel Gaspard de la Nuit
