Further cast announced for high flying panto at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford

Bradford Theatres have announced further casting for this year’s spectacular pantomime, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan. Performers Jamie John and Sarah Pearson who appeared in last year's panto are returning to the Alhambra Theatre this festive season as Tink and Wendy; and Mya Louise Fenton will make her professional debut in the title role of Peter Pan.

The trio join the previously announced Bradford panto legend Billy Pearce as Smee, Myra DuBois as Magical MerMyra, and Ryan Thomas as the notorious Captain Hook.

Jamie John returns to Bradford, this year as Tink, having appeared as one of the Magnificent Seven in last year’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Jamie made his West End debut in Snow White at The London Palladium and has since appeared in numerous 
productions for Crossroads Pantomimes. His television credits include Alan Carr’s Picture Slam, Celebrity Juice, The Last Leg, This Morning and The One Show, while his film credits include Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

On his return to Bradford for a second year, Jamie said:
“I had such a brilliant time here last year, so I’m thrilled to be returning to the Alhambra Theatre this Christmas. The audiences and the team at the Alhambra are fantastic and I can’t wait to be back - this time as Tink and bring my own special flair to the role!”

Huddersfield-based performer Sarah Pearson returns to the Alhambra Theatre for her fourth Bradford panto season, this year playing Wendy. No stranger to local audiences, Sarah’s previous Bradford appearances include Cinderella in Cinderella, Phyllis The Fox in Pinocchio and Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Her other theatre credits include Frankie Goes to Bollywood and Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder! and she has also appeared on television in BBC drama Virdee.

On returning to the Alhambra Theatre for a fourth panto season, Sarah said:
“It’s always so special to perform as part of my local panto, and there’s nothing quite like performing for a Yorkshire audience! I can’t wait to be back on the Alhambra Theatre stage this year, it wouldn’t be Christmas without it.”

Making her professional debut, Mya Louise Fenton is a recent graduate from The Urdang Academy. She started her musical theatre training at the renowned BRIT School. During her training, her credits included Sukie in The Witches of Eastwick, Little Red Riding Hood and Florinda in Into the Woods, and Wendla in Spring Awakening.

The production will bring the magic of Neverland to the Alhambra Theatre stage with spectacular special effects, stunning sets, beautiful costumes and plenty of laughter. Audiences can expect a high-flying, swashbuckling adventure featuring Peter Pan, Tink, Wendy, a crew of dastardly pirates and a very friendly crocodile.

The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan is produced by Crossroads Pantomimes, the world’s biggest pantomime producer and the team behind last year’s Bradford production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

There is a performance for everybody this festive season: with two signed performances on Thursday 10 December 2pm and Sunday 10 January 5pm; two audio described performances on Thursday 7 January 2pm and 7.15pm; a captioned performance on Sunday 3 January 5pm; and two relaxed performances on Tuesday 5 January at 1pm and 6pm. The relaxed performances will welcome everyone who would like to see the panto in a less formal atmosphere.
