Three incredible acts performing at Darley Street Market's Live At The Courtyard weekend!

Pulled Apart By Horses - Fri 14 August 2026, 7.45pm
Lucy Spraggan - Sat 15 August 2026, 8pm
The Hoosiers - Sun 16 August 2026, 2.30pm

Live at the Courtyard lands at Darley Street Market this August, bringing you three days of incredible live music to Bradford city centre. Running from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August, each outdoor concert will see an amazing headliner and support act entertaining the crowd, with an outdoor bar and food offerings, plus more to be announced.

Local Leeds band Pulled Apart by Horses will be performing on Friday evening. The band have earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most electrifying live bands, an adrenaline fuelled cult built on trust, intensity and shared scars. Their shows teeter between precision and total mayhem. They blur the line between band and audience, valuing that connection from day one. Frontman Tom Hudson rarely stays onstage; face to face and unpredictable, he turns every corner of the venue into part of the performance.

Singer songwriter Lucy Spraggan will take to the stage on Saturday evening. Lucy started her journey as a music artist when she was very young, performing and wowing crowds with her self-penned tracks at every open mic and acoustic night. In 2012, she entered The X Factor and went onto be the first contestant in history to score a Top 40 single and album before the live shows aired.

Lucy has reached over 210million streams on Spotify alone with over 443,000 monthly listeners and has sold over 150,000 albums.

Her latest album Other Sides of the Moon opened at number six in the album sales chart, seven in the record store chart and number two on the independent albums chart. This 8th studio album is a collection of reimagined, reworked classics from her seven previous records, plus brand-new songs; a brilliant mix of old and new.

Million selling indie-pop icons The Hoosiers, will headline on Sunday afternoon. They first released their debut album The Trick To Life in 2007 on RCA Records. The album achieved rapid success hitting No.1 in the UK charts and spawning countless singles including the top five hits Worried About Ray and Goodbye Mr A.

Their debut album sold in excess of 700,000 copies in the UK alone and they’ve embarked on multiple sold-out tours and graced stages at the likes of Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Each act will perform for an hour, and there will be supporting acts on each day. These will be announced soon.

Doors on Friday 14 August and Saturday 15 August open at 7pm and on Sunday 16 August doors will be open at 1.30pm. Music will start around 45-minutes after doors open. Before audiences head to The Courtyard, they can enjoy the wide range of food and drink available on sale at Darley Street Kitchen. From sizzling Syrian street food to bold Sri Lankan dishes and wood-fired pizza, it's bursting with global flavours and local favourites. Please note the kitchen will close once the concert starts.

A Bradford Markets spokesperson said:“We’re looking forward to welcoming these three amazing acts to the Courtyard at Darley Street Market this summer. This will be our first outdoor festival. There will be outdoor bars as well as fabulous food. Look out for more details and also support act announcements shortly.”
