Welcome to The Studio. Enjoy stand-up comedy from a variety of established, well-loved comedians and new names on the comedy circuit, often including favourites from Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The Studio is a flexible small theatre or rehearsal space adjacent to the Alhambra Theatre main house. It has a seating capacity of 200 in theatre style, with retractable seating to give a variety of options for event set up.

The Studio is available to hire for a wide range of uses, including small scale theatre, workshops, rehearsals, meetings, conferences, and exhibitions. With a range of options including buffet dining for 140, this Bradford venue caters for many event types.

The Studio is adjacent to the Alhambra Theatre in the centre of Bradford, with the entrance on Great Horton Road.

Belongings & Security

Your tickets will be checked when you enter the venue. We conduct bag searches before shows, for the safety and security of customers and staff. Please avoid bringing rucksacks and suitcases to the venue and please allow enough time before shows. We do not have any onsite cloakrooms.

Food and Drink

The Studio bar offers a wide selection of drinks for enjoying before a performance or at the interval.

You can also enjoy a pre-show meal at Restaurant 1914 in the Alhambra Theatre for a choice of mouth-watering food from our seasonal menu, right next to The Studio auditorium.
